Whether you are new to our parish or looking to explore faith a bit further we support and encourage you to come along we love meeting new people. We understand just how difficult it can to walk through those doors so feel free to check us out on Facebook first you’ll get a flavour for our services there, you can use the contact us page to get in touch if you would like to have a chat with someone prior to coming along. If you’re still making decisions about your faith and where that journey could take you we have a few options for you to get involved with. We run regular courses where we think about faith and how it impacts our everyday if you are interested in taking part in exploring faith please get in touch.
We also have regular small/home groups. We use a range of material to look through the bible and its themes in a way that is meaningful for each individual. Some run online using zoom when possible groups will begin to meet in person. If you would like to know more about small groups or when they run please get in touch with the parish office
The Start Course
Start! introduces Christianity through six DVD based interactive, small-group sessions. The Start! course makes no assumptions about participants’ background or experience or knowledge of Christianity or the church. It really does start from scratch.
The down-to-earth interactive approach of Start! has proved a winner throughout the UK and overseas – and in every kind of setting.
The Moving on Course
Moving On! is a seven-session sequel to the Start! course. With a similar down-to-earth approach, the course helps people explore Christian discipleship in a relaxed, small-group setting.
As you’d expect, it’s ideal for people who are taking new steps of faith as a result of the Start! Course; but participation in Start! isn’t essential. Moving On! is for anyone who wants to explore what it means to be a Christian disciple today.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: hospitality, a talk and good conversation.
