Parish South  Area Service
The congregation at Parish South Area Service first started meeting in a local pub in 1972. At the time there was no other community building in the area!

In 1981 we moved to our present home at The Hermitage School, as there were so many of us and we had outgrown the pub.

Between 80 and 90 people of all ages regularly worship at the service and a warm welcome is offered to those who come.

A Music Group leads the worship, which is informal, the music varying from traditional hymns to the latest songs.

We have a crèche within the service for children aged 0-3. Children between the ages of 3 and 14 spend part of the service in their own groups for teaching and activities.

Our current Mission Statement is: -

"We meet to worship God and enjoy fellowship with each other; so that we may witness to His love in Jesus Christ; and serve those around us in the power of His Holy Spirit."

As well as Sunday worship we operate a number of midweek activities including Home Groups, a Young Families (parent and toddler) group and Five-a-side Football.

If you would like to join us, or simply pay us a visit, we would love to meet you!

Minister in charge:- Revd. Jeff Anderson
Time of meeting:- Every Sunday at 10.00 a.m. (apart from the first Sunday of each month)
Place:- The Hermitage School, Waldridge Lane.
