Once a month, the three Area
Services of the parish meet together in the main church
building for a joint service of Holy Communion.
This joint service helps to remind us of
our unity as a parish, despite the fact that we may worship in different
locations on other weeks.
The slightly larger combined service gives us an opportunity to make the worship special, using drama
and additional musical items.
At present, children who come to this
service are catered for by their own "Sunday
Club" (meeting over the road in the Parish
Centre) at the same time as the church worship.
This service is a wonderful introduction
to the worshipping life of the parish.
Visitors who receive communion in their
own church or denomination are welcome to join around the Lord’s
Table for communion.
After the service, all are invited to cross to the Parish Centre for a chat over a cup
of tea or coffee.
