The First Sunday service has become a very special service for a large number of people, not only from The Parish Church of Saint Mary and Saint Cuthbert but also from our local surrounding area. 

It takes its name from its meeting time; on the first Sunday of each month (apart from January and August).

We meet in the late evening, from 7.30 p.m. - 9.30 p.m. 

It attracts all ages, particularly the young adult (and the young at heart). 

Regular features include lively and extended times of worship, with modern music, teaching from a guest speaker and the opportunity for prayer ministry.

Its aim is the upbuilding and equipping of all God's people.
