Who are we - We are a friendly group of people who are interested in photography – ability wise some of us are more accomplished and experienced than others some of whom are beginners. Equipment varies greatly – one or two have Digital SLR cameras but most of us have much more modest and basic equipment. Most of us are also church goers but this is not essential to be a member of the group.

Viewfinder meetings - we meet approximately once a month in the Parish Centre on either a Monday or Thursday evening at 7.30 pm.

What do we do - We usually set ourselves a photographic task each month and at our meetings we look at and comment on the photographs we have taken.  If anyone has a problem over taking, printing or presenting photographs we also try to address this.  Tasks over the last few months have included – Journeys, reflections, close ups and Chester le Street.  We usually arrange a couple of outings each year – one in the Spring/Summer and one in the Autumn.

We have recently purchased some display boards for the Parish Centre and regularly hold exhibitions of our work.
