Hope on our Street

Hope on our Street has followed on from our involvement in the nationwide Hope 2008 servant evangelism initiative. Servant evangelism is a means of showing God's love to people through servant activities. This will be giving a simple free gift or giving one's time. We passionately believe that this is just as important as conventional methods of evangelism.

It has not been decided what will be our main Parish outreach programme for 2010, but Hope on our street will certainly feature. We will have a full calendar of activities throughout the year and anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in these. Usually that means giving up a Saturday morning when the activity often takes place or on a Friday afternoon in preparation for the events.

                                              December - Selection Box distribution to hospitals and homes
