Hope on our Street

Hope on our Street has followed on from our involvement in the nationwide Hope 2008 servant evangelism initiative. Servant evangelism is a means of showing God's love to people through servant activities. This will be giving a simple free gift or giving one's time. We passionately believe that this is just as important as conventional methods of evangelism.

We will have a full calendar of activities throughout the year and anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in these. Usually that means giving up a Saturday morning when the activity often takes place or on a Friday afternoon in preparation for the events.

^{December 1st (Saturday morning) Distribution of Advent candles – funds permitting}

^{December 17th (Monday) Christmas selection boxes to be donated by this date for distribution to needy children}

^{December 25th (Tuesday) Christmas Day lunch – if sufficient helpers}
