We sing at every Sunday evening service at 6.00p.m., 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays being Common Worship Choral Evensong and 4th Sundays Choral Communion.
We also sing at occasional civic services (e.g. Remembrance Sunday) and at weddings (about 20 a year).
The choir is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music and many members attend R.S.C.M. workshops and other events, such as the Diocesan Choirs Festival held each June at Durham Cathedral.
The choir's music and robes are funded by popular events such as coffee mornings (held regularly throughout the year) and the Parochial Church Council subsidizes the choir whenever necessary.
Our choir works well musically and socially.
